Multimedia filters are employed to eliminate suspended solids and reduce the turbidity level of the water by entrapping impurities within the media. It contains a multilayer of media such as sand, anthracite granite, and gravel and is arranged according to its densities where the lighter density is placed on the top.

Multimedia Filtration (MMF) is commonly used for filtration process in the following applications:

Granular Activated Carbon Filter (GACF) is based on an adsorption process that involves passing liquid to be treated through a bed of granular activated carbon. GACF removes refractory organic compounds as well as residual amounts of inorganic compounds such as nitrogen, sulphides and heavy metals. It also removes taste and odour components from wastewater in reuse application. Granular activated carbon with iodine value of 1000 is used in GACF and the filter can be operated at varying flux range from 10 to 15m3 2 /m -Hr based on the inlet feed contaminant concentration and on the required product water contaminant concentration

Connection as per Requirement of Client, Thickness is dependent on diameter, Length of Tank & Working Pressure of Tank Pressure (0.1 Bar onwards)

Complete with Pressure Gauge, Safety Valve, Drain Valve and all Other Accessories Excellent Finishing, Long Lasting, Leak Proof Tank.

All Filters will be provided with QC Dossier (Design Data, Hydro test Report, Drawings, Material Test Reports, Internal Inspection Reports, along with Warranty and other relevant details).
